Whose Christ?

"Sincere persons who want to know the true God and serve Him find it a bit difficult to love and worship a complicated, freakish-looking three-headed God." ~Let God Be True (pg. 102)
Not only do they misrepresent our idea of the Trinity, but they deny it as demonic. They say that Jesus was first created of the angels, higher than angels, but lower than God. He did not exist before creation and he did not rise from the dead in bodily form, but came back as a spirit.
Stripping Christ of His status as being one with God (John 10:30) "I and the Father (God) are one." not only insults his sacrifice, making his strong assertions aloof (John 8:58) "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was, I am." but also makes his entire life lived quite pointless. (Luke 19:10) "For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost."
If Jesus was not God, He would have no authority to forgive sins, (Mark 2:7) "Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins but God alone?" He would not have been declared a blasphemer, (John 5:59) At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds." and His sacrifice would have been in vain. (John 11:25) "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, thought he die, yet shall he live."
If Jesus was not fully God who chose to limit himself and come down to be born as a lowly human child of man, our salvation would not be possible. No man is perfect, and only God can forgive sins - therefore as Jesus Was God, he could live a perfect life without sin, and because he was a man, he could become a sacrifice to take our sins away. All this evidenced by his bodily resurrection - proving his words to be true.
