Socialism for NONE!... I mean all.
Marxism is a beautiful idea. Equalize everything. Everyone has abundance, no one is in want. Everyone has the same care, the same amount of food, the same work load, the same amount of wealth. Jealousy, which can arguably be the cause of the major percentage of crimes, will be eradicated.

Outcomes? So far, communism has shown great progress in mass murder.

Mao Ze Dong (China) - 70 million murdered out of a population of 550 million
Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) - 14 million murdered out of a population of 22 million
Fidel Castro (Cuba) - 100 thousand murdered out of a population of 8 million
Every one of them a dictator. In fact, not one communist experiment has ended outside of a dictatorship.
See, the idea of communism was that the government take everything all at once, and then the government would slowly equalize everything for the populace, creating a socialist utopia. NEVER worked. EVER! Why? Because the theory assumes man is basically good… man is not.

Socialism is NO DIFFERENT than communism when it comes to what it WANTS TO DO!
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE between communism and socialism is that in communism, the change comes all at once. The government gets it all. In socialism, it is gradual. Let us give the government power over the school system. Next, let us give it the health care system. Next, let’s “Socialize” something else. Next… Next… Next… until the government has everything and can then equalize it out to create a socialist utopia!

WHY?
Because no matter how good intentioned the ideas are, MAN is NOT basically good. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts... Absolutely!
